I am a native of Henderson, Kentucky, and a graduate of Henderson County High School. It was during my senior year that I was saved and became a born again Christian. After several months of attending church, I felt the call to preach. Upon accepting that call, I took advantage of every opportunity I could to preach.
I was licensed to preach by Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana. After several more years of preaching and preparing myself for the pastoral ministry, I was called to pastor my first church. I was ordained in 1983 and have been pastoring since then.
I am married and have three lovely children.

I am a proud resident of Crittenden County, Kentucky. In addition to leading music at Mexico Baptist I own a barber shop in Marion, Kentucky and work as a realtor for Bluegrass Realty and Auction. I enjoy volunteering in the community as a fire fighter and I enjoy helping coach football to kids in the community.
